Traffic Court hears all traffic cases for highway patrol, county officers, Wackenhut, and some of USC Aiken traffic cases. Citizens may pay traffic ticket with money orders, certified checks, credit card (with an additional convenience fee), or cash (correct change needed). (If mailing in fines, please pay with a money order or cashier check. Do not send cash.) No personal checks are accepted. Traffic Court is located at 223 Park Avenue SW. Traffic Court hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.


Enforced Dress Code

Appropriate attire required:
No shorts, revealing clothing, hats, or flip flops are permitted.
No purses, large bags, backpacks, or cell phones are permitted either.
No eating, drinking are allowed in the courtroom. This includes gum.
No talking in the courtroom. Please be seated and remain quiet.

Pay Your Traffic Ticket Online

If you have received a traffic ticket in the unincorporated area of Aiken County, you can now pay your ticket online by visiting http://publicindex.sccourts.org/aiken/onlinepayments/. Credit cards are accepted for payment online and at all Magistrate offices in Aiken County; a convenience fee is added by the credit card processor to defer the cost of handling the credit card payments.
