Parks, Recreation, & Tourism

The Parks, Recreation, and Tourism department works to provide safe and innovative recreational programs and park amenities of the highest quality that resources allow to all citizens and visitors of Aiken County.

The Parks Division provides safe, convenient and well-appointed parks and facilities for the leisure use of Aiken County residents, their guests and visitors.

The Recreation Division provides new and/or up-to-date facilities that enhance Aiken County parks so they will be useful and enjoyable. This division also plans interesting and well-implemented leisure programs for the enjoyment of residents, their guests, and visitors to our County.

The Tourism Division's goal is to develop and implement promotional programs that attract visitors and new commerce to Aiken County and kindle the interest of residents in the history, conservation and development of the County.
