ServiceCenter Now Helping Citizens
Aiken County's new ServiceCenter, located in the lobby of the County Complex at 828 Richland Avenue West in Aiken is improving citizens' interactions with Aiken County Government by providing full-time, dedicated customer service agents available weekdays to answer questions, to direct visitors and callers to the right office the first time, and to begin certain service requests. Online Survey Available for Augusta Regional Transportation Study
The Aiken County Planning & Development Office, which serves as the Augusta Regional Transportation Study Metropolitan Planning Organization (ARTS MPO) for the South Carolina side, is in the process of helping the Augusta-Richmond County Planning Commission develop the 2035 Long Range Transportation Plan. New Business Registration Form Makes Registering Easier
Aiken County businesses can now submit their business registrations online using the new online form. In 2006, Aiken County Council approved Ordinance No. 06-10-31 which authorizes the establishment of a Business Registration System for businesses located within Aiken County, including those businesses located within the corporate boundaries of municipalities within the County. There is no fee to register a business in Aiken County; however, all businesses should register each year to receive their Business Registration Certificate. Alternatively, a business can still download, print, and mail the form to the Tax Collector for registration.
Master-In-Equity Provides New Judicial Sale Listing Page
The listing for the Master-In-Equity Judicial Sale will be available in a new and enhanced format beginning with the sales for April 2010. The Notice of Sale for each case, which contains the legal description of the property being sold, will be available to download. The Master-In-Equity Judicial Sale Listing for the April 5, 2010 sale will be available on 3/22/2010.

Vehicle Tax history is available on the eGov section of our website. The new search functionality allows you to search vehicle tax history by owner name or receipt number. You will be prompted for the last 4 digits of the vehicle's VIN in order to view details; this is required by Federal privacy guidelines.

The New Ellenton Magistrate's Office has been temporarily relocated to the Aiken Magistrate's Office at 1680 Richland Avenue West in Aiken.

Circuit Case information, including civil and criminal cases and judgments, is available online. Additionally, court dockets and rosters are also available online. Use our Public Index website and when prompted, click on Circuit Court for the Circuit case search page. Information provided is in accordance with policies of the South Carolina Judicial Department, which provided the software for this new online service.
