Home Brew Video Competition Now Open For Submissions Aiken County Parks, Recreation, and Tourism is accepting submissions for the 2nd Annual Home Brew Video Competition. The submission deadline is March 30. The entry fee is $30 per submitted video. Entries are not to exceed 10 minutes. Competition categories include High School Student, College Student, and Hobbyist/Aspiring Professional. Accepted genres include narrative, documentary, animation, and experimental/abstract. All entries must incorporate something that is characteristic of Aiken County. Entry forms, rules and last year's winning videos can be found at www.aikencountyprt.com. Download an entry form here. Reminder - All Businesses Must Register With The Tax Collector's Office Each Year According to County Ordinance No. 06-10-31, all Businesses are to be registered with the Tax Collector's Office each year. A copy of the ordinance and the registration form can be found on the County website or at the County Complex Service Center, located at 828 Richland Ave. W, Aiken, SC 29801. Registrations can be filled out and submitted online or mailed to Aiken County Tax Collector, PO Box 873, Aiken, SC 29802. There is not a fee to register. However, all business property taxes, both real and personal, must be paid prior to registering. A business cannot operate in the county without meeting these requirements. Republican Primary Results
(Official Results) Planning and Development Now Accepting Credit Card Payments For Fees Aiken County Planning and Development now accepts credit card payments for permits and other fees. Payment by credit card (Mastercard, Visa, and Discover) may be made in person or over the telephone. A 2.5% transaction fee will be added to the total amount due when paying using a credit card. As an example, a building permit that costs $100 will run customers an additional $2.50. Permit and other fees may also be paid with cash or check.

Aiken County will send property notifications to the email address you provide. These notifications may include that a tax bill has been mailed, payment has been received, or that payment has not been received. Property Owner Email Notifications eGov Subscription Service Now Available At No Charge The eGov subscription service, including property record search by name, comparable sales, and RMC documents, is now available at no charge. The site is still an “Under Development” type of site and will continue to change in the weeks ahead and could be off line from time to time to make some of the changes. Please let us know what you think as you use the new site. Print Vehicle and Real Property Tax Receipts Vehicle and Real Property Tax Receipt inquiry and printing is now available on our website. Real Property receipts are available from 1991 to present, and vehicle receipts are available from 1994 to present. Receipts are searchable by owner-name, receipt number, or property number.
