The Aiken County Council appoints three subcommittees of council - Judicial and Public Safety Committee, Development Committee, and Administrative Committee. Agenda items are usually reviewed by one of the three standing subcommittees before consideration by County Council.  All meetings, unless otherwise noted, are held in the small meeting room of the Council Building, 736 Richland Ave. W, in Aiken, SC.

 

The Judicial and Public Safety Committee's members are:

                                 Chairman - LaWana McKenzie

                                 Vice-Chairman - Chuck Smith

                                 Member - Charles Barton

 

The committee regularly meets at 5:30 pm on the third Tuesday of each month. All meetings are open to the public.
