The following status codes are used within the Aiken County Out Of State Tag Reporting System.

New - The vehicle has been submitted and staff are searching for vehicle information.

In Progress - The vehicle has been identified and a staff member of the Auditor's office is reviewing.

Paid - Taxes have been paid.

Suspended - After researching a tag, the Auditor's office cannot substantiate tax liability at this time. Further research may occur as warranted.

Closed - Research revealed no tax bill is needed.

Reopened - The case was closed or suspended previously, but now it is active a second time.
